SAS IT has a long term business relationship with the Automobile Association (AA), having provided financial bespoke application development and hosted systems service since the early 1990s. We manage and maintain the IT environment for AA in an outsourcing arrangement. In particular this includes the AA membership database, one of the largest customer databases in the country.

SAS IT wrote the AA Rewards System which supports the very popular AA Rewards loyalty card. Since then we have managed and maintained that system which has seen strong growth through a network of more than 40 partners including many major retail brands.

SAS IT has also supported the development of the new AA website by creating applications and developing the links to, and integration with, the host systems to provide dynamic, real-time information to the website. As their key partner, SAS IT has played an important role in growth achieved by the AA in recent years to the point where membership now exceeds 1.3 million. SAS IT has worked with the New Zealand Automobile Association for decades.
